About Us

The County Durham Healthy Homes Partnership (CDHHP) is a strategic partnership that contains professionals from NHS County Durham, tadea, Welfare Rights, The Fire Service, Age Concern, Durham Dales GP Led Commissioning Consortium and Durham County Council. Through bringing together these organisations, we can work towards better health through reducing fuel poverty and the effects of cold.

Here at CDHHP, we understand that warm homes lead to healthy homes, but that it is not always easy for older or more vulnerable people to keep warm. For this reason, one of the products of this partnership has been the Hotspots project, which is a referral mechanism for health professionals, who are concerned about any of the clients that they support. If you are a health professional and you having concerns about whether a client is able to keep warm or keep healthy in their own home, do not hesitate to get in touch.

We also offer energy saving tips, home safety tips and fire safety tips.

For more information, email: health@tadea.com.

Alternatively, you can telephone the tadea freephone number on 0800 124 4320.
